Advance

What? — Student Advance (retreat)

  • We are taking two days (one night) to connect with God and with others. The purpose of this Student Advance is to seek more of Jesus. We will do this in three areas: worship, prayer, and fellowship. This Advance is designed to help students and young adults move forward in their relationship with God. If you want more of God, this is the place to be.

Who? — Students & Young Adults

  • This Advance is geared to the students and young adults of IC:Madrid. If you attend IC:Madrid and fit into the category of a student or young adult, we want to encourage you to come. If you do not belong to IC:Madrid but would still like to come, you are more than welcome to join us.

When? — This Saturday & Sunday

  • It will begin at 2:00 PM at the Santiago’s house. We will provide lunch as well as transportation for those coming from Madrid. Meet at the IC:Madrid church building at 1:00 PM if you wish to get a ride to the Advance. We are also picking up people from La Garena train station, just let us know if you need to be picked up as well. When the Advance ends Sunday, we will take all of the students and young adults to IC:Madrid for our celebration service.

Where? — Camarma de Esteruelas

  • To keep the cost down, we will be having the services, fellowship times, and sleeping arrangements in houses. During the night the boys will stay at Anthony Santiago’s house, and the girls at Ashley McKenzie’s.

Cost? — 5 Euros

  • The cost includes all the meals and activities that we will be doing. However, if you are unable to pay the cost please let us know. We will not make this a problem for you if you are unable to pay the cost. Just let us know.

So, how do I sign up?

  • We aren’t going to make you fill out a long registration form. We just simply ask that you let us know you are coming either by our Facebook event, or by email (hello@icmadrid.com). Also, please let us know if you are needing help with the cost of the Advance or any transportation questions you might have.
